Anti-Semitism: A Community Conversation

In 2017, anti-Semitic incidents surged nearly 60 percent, according to the ADL Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents. This was the largest single-year increase on record and the second highest number reported since ADL started tracking such data in 1979.

Join the Jewish Alliance in welcoming Robert Trestan, Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), in reflecting on the concerning rise of anti-Semitism and hate crimes. The program will also include a diverse group of panelists sharing perspectives and tools for combating hatred.

Panelists will include:

  • Rabbi Mark Elber, Rabbi of Temple Beth El, Fall River
  • Jim Vincent, President, NAACP Providence Branch
  • Victoria Strang, Director, RI Interfaith Coalition to Reduce Poverty
